What Counts as a Warm-Up Set

A team warm-up is the outfit athletes wear before and after they perform: on the bus, in the stands, at check-in and on the awards floor. Programs usually order one of three combinations.

• Jacket and pant suits (tracksuits). A full-zip warm-up jacket paired with a coordinating warm-up pant. This is the classic competition look.
• Sweatsuits. A hoodie or crew neck sweatshirt with joggers, for colder travel days and more casual team events.
• Mix-and-match pieces. Jackets and pants are listed separately in the grid above, so a program can add pants to jackets it already owns or order extra jackets for coaches.

Every piece is made to order. You approve the stone colors, logo placement and lettering before production.

Dance Team Warm-Ups

Dance studios and school dance teams wear warm-ups through long competition and convention weekends, so the options here are built around that schedule.

Dance warm-up suits

Complete dance warm-up suits start at $99. Jackets in the grid include the Augusta Medalist ($35), Boxercraft Studio, Absolute, Boom, Chassé Performance VIP, Zoe Voyager and Free Form (about $50). Pants that coordinate include the Chassé Performance VIP Pants, Zoe Nova Warm Up Pants, Holloway Aerial Pant, Expression Warm Up Pants and Energy Pants.

Rhinestone warm-up pants

Pants can carry the studio logo or team name in rhinestones or glitter, which finishes the set when dancers take the jacket off. Devonshire Dance paired its competition team jacket with men’s and youth pants, and Cedartown Academy of Performing Arts ordered custom warm-up pants alongside its other studio pieces.

Dance sweatsuits and joggers

For travel days, some studios prefer a softer set. The 8th Count, Soul Steppin’ Studio, Holy City Dance and Starlight Dance Center have each ordered joggers with a matching hoodie or sweatshirt. See the dance sweatsuits article for more combinations.

Names and team levels

Each dancer’s name or nickname goes on the jacket at no extra charge. Studios with more than one competition team can add the team or level name so every group has its own version of the set. Studios that want a jacket on its own, without pants, should start with dance team jackets.

Cheer Warm-Up Sets and Sweatsuits

Cheer programs wear warm-ups to games, competitions and camp. Ridgefield Tigers Cheerleading ordered a bling jacket with matching warm-up pants, and Harborfield Varsity Cheerleading and Providence Cheerleading both ordered custom warm-up pants. Named set designs on the site include Go, Fight, Win; Pump Up The Volume; Game Changer; Friday Night Lights; the Sideline Warmup; and The Queen of Bling. For a sideline sweatsuit, programs pair a rhinestone-logo hoodie or crew neck sweatshirt with joggers or leggings. Rena Dabandons, whose squad ordered team warm-up jackets, wrote that “everyone is amazed by the quality of the jackets” and that Nicolette’s customer service “made the experience fun and stress free.” Squads that want a jacket without a set can see custom cheer jackets.

Matching Sets for Athletes, Coaches and Parents

Pyramid Athletics ordered ladies’, men’s and youth versions of both its jacket and pants, so every age and size range in the program matches. Queen Creek Wildcats, Stingers, A1 Spirit Athletics and Acrodynamics each ordered a jacket with matching pants. One returning customer wrote, “This is the second time we have bought gear packages from Nicolette!”

Other Sports and Programs

Individual warm-up jackets list from $35 to about $50, and complete dance warm-up suits start at $99. Team pricing starts at 15 units. Costume-grade rhinestones are standard, with genuine crystal upgrades available.

Who Custom Warm-Ups Fit

They fit cheer, dance and gymnastics programs ordering for a full team, coaches and parents, with time to approve a design and try sizes. They are not a fit for a single athlete who needs a set this week, or for anyone who needs a refundable order: custom team items generally cannot be returned.

Timeline and Sizing

Custom warm-ups typically take 4–6 weeks from design approval. Order by early summer for fall sideline season and by early fall for competition season; rush options are available before competition season if you ask. Sample sizes can be shipped so athletes try them on first. Sizing mistakes after production are not covered. If stones come off after delivery, send the item back and it is fixed free under the return policy.

Can we buy only the pants to match jackets we already have?

Yes. Pants are listed separately in the grid. Send a photo of your current jacket so the logo and stone colors on the pants can be designed to match.

Can coaches and parents get the same warm-up in adult sizes?

Yes. Programs such as Pyramid Athletics have ordered ladies’, men’s and youth sizes of the same set.

When should a cheer program order warm-ups for fall?
